What is Seeker?

🜍

A TTRPG of Occult Discovery

“There are truths buried beneath the roots of the New World—truths not meant to be unearthed. Yet we, the Seekers, were sent to dig anyway.”

— Christophorus Columbus

Seeker is a tabletop role‑playing game set in an alternate Age of Discovery, where colonial ambition awakens forgotten entities and fractured ley‑lines. As a Seeker/Buscador—explorer, scholar, heretic—you cross an ocean into lands that observe you as intently as you chart them.

Your path is unbound by class, shaped instead by your choices across three converging domains: Combat, Exploration, and Social Intrigue. Discoveries alter your capabilities as much as they shift the world around you—each relic uncovered, ruin explored, or alliance forged deepens your mark on the map and the myths it carries.

You won’t find rigid roles or linear quests. Instead, Seeker offers an open structure where personal ambition, factional conflict, and arcane mystery collide. Magic is dangerous and alive. Maps are incomplete lies. The world changes based on your presence—sometimes subtly, sometimes catastrophically.

This is not a tale of simple heroes and villains. It is the record of those who sought… and what they found.

The New World

The map is drawn, but the world resists

“There are lands across the sea where the air is heavy with spirits, and the ground bleeds when broken. We came seeking gold and found a mirror — one that shows us what we truly are.”

— Fray Bartolomé de las Casas,
Apócrifos del Nuevo Mundo

Beyond the endless waters lies a continent unlike any whispered of in European courts—a land where ancient powers shape the earth, where spirits speak in storms, and where the bones of dead gods rise from jungle soil.

Empires sail westward, hungry for gold, glory, and dominion. But the New World is no empty stage. It is alive, aware, and watching.

In Seeker, you are the sharp edge of conquest and curiosity—explorers, heretics, outcasts, and occultists who chart the unknown. The arcane mingles with the political, the sacred with the monstrous. Every step forward risks unmaking your body, your mind, or your soul.

You are not just discovering a world.
You are being discovered in return.
